Services
It has been well researched and documented that the negative effects of school failure are paramount and lead to all types of negative behaviors including drop-outs, suspensions, drug use, behavioral problems, poor self esteem, teenage pregnancy, delinquency, and sexual promisquity. Our work is to prevent the root causes of negative behavior. Our target population continues to be high risk youth ages 5-17 who are currently in academic failure and/or having substantial behavior problems. We believe we provide a crucial service to parents of low income and disadvantaged students who cannot afford the academic and behavior supports that they often are in dire need of. Providing access to a safe structured and supervised place where they can receive academic assistance and the life skills training is one of the most important services provided by our agency.
